An Palestinian-American teenager after completing nine months in imprisonment by Israel without charge was released.

Mohammed Ibrahim was fifteen years old when he was arrested this past winter within the occupied West Bank, where he was visiting while residing in Florida accused of stone-throwing against settlement residents, allegations he repeatedly contested.

United States authorities expressed satisfaction with the teenager's freedom.

Mohammed, now 16, needed medical care upon gaining freedom, family members reported.

Family described him as showing signs of malnutrition, while battling health issues contracted in captivity.

Through an official statement, Mohammed's uncle conveyed their "immense relief".

The uncle, Zeyad Kadur stated the family experienced "living a horrific and endless nightmare" throughout the past nine months.

"Currently, we are focused on getting Mohammed the immediate medical attention he needs following exposure to mistreatment by authorities and cruel circumstances for months."

American authorities announced ongoing to extend consular services to the teenager's relatives.

{"The Trump Administration gives utmost importance to the protection and welfare of American nationals"," officials stated.

Twenty-seven US lawmakers endorsed a document to the state department and the administration, requesting additional efforts to release him.

Mohammed's parent, with four children who runs an ice cream business from Florida, previously said his son only confessed regarding stone throwing due to physical abuse.

He had not seen or communicated with his son since February, and only heard about his son's condition in detention through court documents.

Mohammed was held absent formal charges in Ofer prison throughout the occupied territory.

The facility also contains grown detainees, some of whom have been convicted regarding severe security violations and homicide.

There are around 350 Palestinian child security detainees detained within Israeli facilities, per correctional service statistics.

Several lack formal charges while advocacy organizations, including UN bodies, report instances of physical abuse and torture.

Subsequent to his liberation, family representatives announced relatives would persist in advocating seeking justice for their relative Sayfollah Musallet.

The 20-year-old dual US citizen per medical officials succumbed to assault by radical settlers during a confrontation in July.

At the time, defense forces stated officials were investigating reports a Palestinian civilian had died.

Mohammed and Sayfollah collaborated in the family ice cream shop in Tampa, Florida.

No indictments occurred with Sayfollah's killing.

"We anticipate the American government to protect our families," Mr Kadur said.
